  perhaps you remember or are familiar with the somewhat older "Instant Update CMS"? It was a flat-file CMS like yours, but it had the great feature that you could simply upload "any HTML5 theme" to the server with the CMS, and the HTML theme would be "automatically editable" by the CMS. This meant as a site admin you didn't have to add specific HTML tags to the source code to make the theme editable, because every <div> was automatically created as an editable area by the CMS.
  It would be awesome if you could update your CMS to make this possible, too. Then every HTML5 theme would be compatible with your CMS, and that would be a truly powerful feature.
